Facing a series of longtime water intrusion issues, Holy Rosary Catholic Church engaged Paradigm Construction to investigate and identify the root causes of exterior envelope failure. Detailed documentation and removal of certain materials started the process of demolition, closely followed by remediation of the slate tile roofing, adding metal step flashing and sealants, installing new wall cap flashing, repairs and replacement of damaged cast stone, masonry tuck-pointing and stained-glass window repairs. Interior repairs and upgrades for liturgical significance were also undertaken, updating the historically significant space. This stunning example of architecture received the attention and care needed to allow it to extend its usable life while respecting the architectural significance of the building.
